I met Dee Davey back in 2009 when I needed to sell my home. Living in Mansfield for many years, of course I knew who Dee was. I think she knew who I was as well! As many of you will remember, it was a tough time in the housing business back then. Dee sold my house quickly and at the price I wanted. I knew she was good!

Fast forward a couple years. I had noticed that the Television News business was heading in a direction that didn’t sit right with me. Not enough good ol’ fashioned forecasting in the weather department and more fluff and sensationalism. I knew I was on my way out. I asked Dee to lunch for some advice about me becoming an appraiser. She said while she thought highly of appraisers, she saw me as an agent. A Real Estate Agent!

Well, it didn’t take long after that. I went to school, took the classes and joined Dee. These past 6 years have been some of the best years of my life. Learning from the “Queen” as her peers like to call her, I could not have asked for a better mentor.
